Carhartt WIP joining forces with PACCBET (pronounced “rassviet”), the new Russian skate brand founded in 2016 by designer Gosha Rubchinskiy and Tolia Titaev. Their upcoming collection, inspired by skateboarding in the late ’80s and early ’90s, spans 12 pieces that features oversized, boxy fits, playfully subverting some of Carhartt WIP’s earliest designs. Standouts include a new take on the Master Pant, now spliced with an alternate colorway to create a two-tone trouser, as well as a refreshed Detroit Jacket built with washed denim in exaggerated proportions. “PACCBET,” printed in the signature Carhartt WIP typeface, is the finishing touch various pieces.
Check out the lookbook above, shot by Gosha Rubchinskiy, and expect the goods to launch January 24th through select retailers and global Carhartt WIP locations.
