Back in early 2016, Stone Island launched its first ever U.S. flagship store, setting up shop in L.A.’s La Brea district. Less than two years later, the brand has already outgrown that first location, announcing a new location in the same neighborhood that spans 5,300 square feet. Featuring huge street-facing windows, the free-standing structure is now the largest space entirely dedicated to the brand. Inside, shoppers will enjoy an expansive interior that incorporates panels of layered glass in shades of blue, while the triangular geometry of Stone Island’s signature compass rose is used on the ceiling and floor, which is made of pietra serena stone and steel. The fixtures, meanwhile, include reflective Alucobond and industrial felt shelves placed on black lacquered wood paneling, as well as hanging racks made of bright fiberglass, oiled oak and carbon, with the structure finished in anodized colored aluminum. Be sure to check it out if you’re in the area.
