The range features various pieces produced almost entirely in South Africa. Daniel, who designed the graphics for the range took inspiration from Shelflife’s 10 year history and combined it with his love for the great outdoors. The co ordinates used in the graphics are the actual map locations from the original Shelflife store, which was located in Loop Street to the new location in Longmarket Street.
Whilst designing the pattern for this release, Daniel managed to include the actual land contours of where the old location and new location are situated. Finally, the morse code used as a graphic element translates to “Celebrating 10 years of Shelflife, a Collaboration between Shelflife and Daniel Ting Chong.”
