As sneakerheads in the northern hemisphere prepare for the oncoming winter months, Lacoste L!VE and Footpatrol drop a three-part capsule collection that mixes rich sporting heritage with the UK brand’s own unique approach to modern design. Given the fact that this is their first time collaborating together, the two brands decided to find common ground – a mutual love for art and design – in a way that is still street-ready. The result is a new take on the Lacoste 80s court classic silhouette known as the Halfcourt and a long-sleeve polo. The polo sees the crocodile as the main subject, playing with the idea of illusion and infinity paired with a split monochromatic theme that sees white and black paneling, finished with co-branded trims and Footpatrol’s logo on the left sleeve.
The Halfcourt complements the polo shirt perfectly in both a Black/White and a Grey/White, presented in a premium quality suede material with nubuck details seen on the heel and tongue. Premium leather is also used on the collar lining and footbed complete with debossed dual brand logos on the heel and the repeat crocodile graphic throughout the rest of the footbed. Just 150 pieces of the long-sleeve polo shirt have been produced while the shoes are limited to just 450 pairs worldwide, with only 50 of those in gray only available at Footpatrol London, all launching October 17, so move fast if you want in.
